With the support of Tourism Noosa and Noosa Council, the Plastic Free Noosa program embodies our community's dedication to reducing single-use plastic. At Glen Eden Beach Resort, we wholeheartedly embrace this initiative and have met all criteria set forth for this prestigious award.

How We Fulfill the Criteria

1. Eliminating Single Use Plastic Water Bottles: At Glen Eden, we’ve replaced plastic water bottles with eco-friendly stainless steel options. Our guests can stay hydrated without contributing to plastic waste.
2. Say Goodbye to Single Use Take-Away Coffee Cups: We believe in the power of reusability! Guests can purchase our reusable mugs at reception, ensuring that every coffee enjoyed is one that protects our beautiful environment.
3. Recycling Made Easy: We make recycling straightforward with clear labeling for all common waste.
4. Sourcing Sustainable Products: We partner with local suppliers and Plastic Free Members, such as Ha-Ra, to work with products that are sustainable and/or plastic-free. This includes chemical-free cleaning products and locally sourced, eco-friendly toilet paper.
5. Refillable Amenities and Eco-Friendly Practices: All our dispensers are designed to be refillable. Additionally, we’re proud to collect rainwater for our gardens and utilize solar power to minimize our environmental footprint.
