Whale and Turtle Season

A highlight of the Sunshine Coast is whale season, which runs from June to October. Witness the migration of humpback whales as they traverse our coastline—a truly magical experience. Additionally, from November to February, our shores become a nesting ground for endangered loggerhead and green turtles. Watching these majestic creatures during their nesting or hatching is an extraordinary event. We are deeply committed to protecting these vulnerable species and actively support local turtle conservation projects.

Aboriginal Culture of the Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast is celebrated for its stunning landscapes and vibrant communities, but it also holds a rich Aboriginal heritage that has shaped the region for thousands of years. Accessibility

Glen Eden Beach Resort is proud to be a leader in accessibility and inclusivity within the tourism industry, having participated in the Access Accelerator program. This initiative, a partnership between Spinal Life Australia and Cérge, empowers us to provide outstanding service to all guests, including those with disabilities.

Sustainability

We are pursuing Eco Certification with a plan that includes Climate Change Risk Assessments for Peregian Beach, an Environmental Management Plan with solar panels and rainwater collection, and a Sustainable Supplier Policy. Our efforts also involve regular Waste Audits to improve waste reduction and recycling.
